Hi mamas! I am so excited to be back moderating another motherhood panel with General Assembly! And this panel is going to be covering one of my favorite topics – Fem Tech. And the Womxn’s is NOT a typo btw.
This is an online event via Zoom, and will take place on Friday May 29th at 3pm EST!
I’ve included more deets about this event for you below, hope to see you there!
About This Event
Although womxn’s health has come a long way over generations, womxn continue to be underserved by the healthcare industry. 65% of healthcare employees are womxn, but they make up only 33% of senior executives and 13% of CEOs.
But the tide is turning…
Last year, womxn-led FemTech startups raised at least $241 million in venture capital, with a market potential of $50B by 2025, according to consulting and research firm Frost & Sullivan.
From menstruation trackers to pregnancy monitors to menopause health, FemTech is making breakthroughs in providing the latest developments in female and womxn’s health.
Join us for a virtual panel discussion featuring revolutionary FemTech thought leaders as they discuss the journey of their startup, challenges in the industry, and advice for budding entrepreneurs.
- What FemTech is, how it is revolutionizing womxn’s health, and how the VC’s are getting involved.
- Discover ways the current climate is changing how women take charge of their sexual lives and reproductive health.
- What the future of FemTech looks like and what companies to watch for.
- Learn what local leaders are doing to destigmatize the discussion surrounding womxn’s bodies, reproductive health, and sexual wellness.
